High Def 2021 brought an elevated production experience compared to years past. With a larger staff team, more volunteers, and a bigger budget we maximized every moment to captivate students and set the scene for an epic weekend. The theme for 2021 was “It’s Your Move” and with that in mind we made sure each moment and message assisted in motivating and empowering students to spread love, kindness, and the message of the gospel into the world. 2021 brought new and unique elements including captivating game designs that featured teams of students on stage and energetic hosts to lead each moment.

We worked around the church’s main worship services that weekend and planned production experiences and games in the atrium that were live streamed to the student’s team rooms to continue the engaging experience while working with limited resources. Each night of the conference also featured a “silent disco” after party with a live DJ, custom lighting design, and confetti cannons. Trey McKnight from BigStuf Ministries and ReThink Group joined us for the weekend as the guest speaker and brought the house down each session with his ability to relate and connect with students. I worked alongside the tech team integrate Trey’s content into each session and directed graphics content, stage presence, and audio requirements. 2021 also brought a larger team of contractors and professionals that I helped manage and lead, including stage hands, speaker hosts, and a large media team that helped capture each session alongside the live video team.
