Preston Trail, Creative Set Decorating and Design
Part of my ongoing relationship with Preston Trail included designing stage and film sets to enhance the creative storytelling. I worked with them on a contract basis per project as unique events popped up on their calendars. Using a wide range of budgets and what they had on hand, I assisted in visually setting the scene for each unique environment.
During 2021, I designed an intimate and intentional set for their prerecorded Good Friday service and helped manage the lighting and creative direction as they filmed their worship and sermon elements.

For Preston Trail’s Mckinney campus I was contacted to decorate their production set for different sermon series and worship nights. Along with helping design their christmas set including assisting in creative lighting design.
And with a more casual set moment, I worked with Preston Trail’s Student Ministry to create a “game room” environment for their “You Asked For It” series where students sent in anonymous questions to ask the staff. They communicated wanting a way to make a large worship center feel more comfortable for the students, so we used furniture, decor, and lighting to help make the space feel more intimate.
